Summer Camp 2026: Where Sails and Learning Rule the Summer!

Real instruction. Real progression. A summer camp built on teaching sailing—not just keeping kids busy.

At Coconut Grove Sailing Club, summer camp means more than time on the water. Our program is built around intentional instruction, safety, and skill development, led by experienced coaches who actively teach sailing fundamentals every day. Campers leave with real confidence, real knowledge, and measurable progress.

Programs

We group campers by age and experience and teach using boats and boards designed specifically for learning.

  • Optimist (Opti), ages 6–12: the gold standard for young beginners
  • Club 420, ages 13–18: double-handed sailing with jib and spinnaker
  • ILCA (Laser), ages 13–18: single-handed progression toward racing pathways
  • Windsurfing, ages 6+: stable boards and kid-specific rigs for safe learning
