Summer Camp 2025
JUNE 9 – AUGUST 8
Ages 6 – 18 Welcome
Set sail for adventure this summer at our sailing and windsurfing camp where children sail and explore beautiful Biscayne Bay! Designed for kids ages 6-18, our camp offers a safe and exciting way to learn or improve their skills on the water. From beginner opti sailing to windsurfing, we emphasize fun while building confidence and essential boat handling skills in a supportive environment. Our experienced instructors prioritize safety, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every camper.
Our Programs
This summer, kids and teens can learn to sail or take their skills to the next level at Coconut Grove Sailing Club! Our youth programs are built around fun, safety, and skill-building aboard a variety of age-appropriate boats and windsurf boards.
Campers will sail on:
-
Optimist dinghies (Optis) for ages 6–12 — the gold standard for beginner youth sailing
-
Club 420s for ages 13–18 — a high school and collegiate double-handed boat with jib, spinnaker, and trapeze
-
ILCA (Laser) for ages 13–18 — a challenging single-handed Olympic class boat, starting with the ILCA 4 rig
-
Windsurfers for ages 6+ — with lightweight, kid-friendly rigs that make learning safe and exciting!
Skill Levels
Our programs are designed for both beginner and intermediate sailors. Whether your child is stepping on a board or boat for the first time or coming back to sharpen their technique, we’ve got a great summer ahead.
