OUR MISSION
Our mission is to expand access and opportunity for Miami’s youth, fostering excellence and character both on and off the water. By combining exceptional instruction with an inclusive community, we empower young sailors to build confidence, lasting connections and a lifelong passion for the sport.
Where Every Child Finds Confidence, Community, and Purpose on the Water
Each year, we serve more than 1,200 local children through strategic partnerships and a dedicated support network. From recreational camps to competitive racing teams, our sailors master more than just the wind; they develop responsibility, teamwork, leadership, and environmental stewardship that extends far beyond the dock.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we provide thousands of dollars in scholarships to ensure that every child — regardless of background — can experience the thrill of sailing. From our learn-to-sail programs to competitive racing teams, your support opens doors for local kids to grow, thrive, and discover their potential.

• Scholarships: Expanding access through need-based financial support
• Capital Investments: New sailboats, coach boats, and fleet improvements
• Equipment & Maintenance: Sails, rudders, safety gear, and coach boat upkeep
• Program Operations: Instruction, safety, logistics, and day-to-day program costs
Every gift helps remove barriers, strengthen our fleet, and ensure safe, high-quality sailing experiences for young sailors.
CGSC Instructional Center (CGSCIC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to sailing and youth development on the water. Your gift directly supports our youth sailing program through scholarships, equipment maintenance and capital purchases that make it possible for CGSCIC to empower the next generation of sailors.
