Daily Attendance
- We take your child’s safety seriously so daily attendance is taken when dropping off and picking up.
- Our “Sign In/Out” station is usually located right outside the gate by the palm tree or just by the vending machine leading to the breezeway when raining.
- Parents, please be sure to check in and out your camper every day both in the morning and when picking up.
Parking
- Parking is for MEMBERS ONLY. However, metered parking is available right outside the club.
- We encourage you to arrive early during pick up to secure a parking spot during the busy afternoon hours.
Parent Policies
- Parents may walk into the club to drop off their kids after checking in, but are expected to leave the property by 9am sharp
- No parents or guardians are allowed to remain on the property once camp activities have commenced.
- While parents can arrive early to secure parking and officially check out their child, campers will not be released until 3:30pm each day.
Camper Pick Up Authorization Form
- Parents must fill out the online Camper Pick Up Authorization Form that tells us who is allowed to pick up your child from camp.
- The link to this form will be posted on this website and must be completed prior to the first day of camp.
Late Arrivals / Early Pick Up
- Should campers need to arrive late or get picked up early, we ask that parents do so during lunch time between 11:30am and 12:30pm.
- Once we are out on the water, we cannot bring everyone back to shore to have a sailor picked up.
Should you have to cancel your child’s registration, you will receive a refund for the total amount minus a non-refundable $100 registration fee. A cancellation notice must be submitted in writing. No refunds will be issued once the session has started. If the child must withdraw once the session has started due to illness or accident, a physician’s written verification is required to receive a refund.
Participation in the Coconut Grove Sailing Club Instructional Center Youth Sailing Program is a privilege. Sailors/campers are expected to uphold the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship, respect, and responsibility. Failure to meet these expectations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the program.
