This year the Coconut Grove Sailing Club’s Instructional Center, Inc. will be participating in 2019 Give Miami
Day to raise funds so as to help provide sailing lessons, scholarships and instructional opportunities for people of all ages. In order to meet our Mission and provide services in our community, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses, like you, for support. Twenty-four hours of giving begins at 12:00 a.m. Thursday November 21 and ends at 12:00 a.m. on Friday November 22. Throughout the day, individuals may view online profiles of more than 600 nonprofit organizations serving Miami-Dade County and make a charitable gift on www.givemiamiday.org . The Coconut Grove Sailing Club’s Instructional Center (CGSCIC) fosters an environment of sportsmanship, a deep connection and love of the waterways of Miami through the sport of sailing. CGSCIC is a non-profit 501 (C)(3) tax deductible organization dedicated to inspiring all ages and all levels of sailors. Coconut Grove Sailing Club has been building sailors since 1946. The life lessons learned at CGSCIC weave into everyday life for hundreds of children, teens and adults every year.

When you give to CGSCIC you are helping to fund key elements of our organization:
– providing sailing instruction to adults and youths
– providing youth scholarships for summer and school terms
